Week 11 Response - How Can We Fix The U.S. Healthcare System?

in #gradnium2 years ago

This post is in response to the question put forth by @joshweertman, "Does the U.S. Healthcare system do more harm than good when it comes to providing affordable healthcare plans?".

There are many United States citizens who love the U.S. Healthcare System, but there are also people who are extremely against it. There are also some citizens who have found it hard to find affordable healthcare programs and programs that are high in quality. The U.S. also forces its people to have healthcare. So, it’s often unfair to everyone in the United States.

There are often problems that occur with healthcare systems in America. The majority of Citizens are upset often upset about these frequent issues. These problems also tend to happen at the worst times possible. Citizens don’t need to use their healthcare until someone dies or has a life-threatening accident. The Affordable Care Act was also recently passed, but instead of helping Americans, it’s actually hurting them. This plan makes for higher deductibles and an increase in consumer cost-sharing. This act made it harder to have healthcare in the United States and not easier.

There are also a lot of errors involved in the U.S. Healthcare System. There have been reports of nursing or staffing shortages in the healthcare system. This makes it harder to find a doctor to deal with a particular problem. As a result, this makes finding the doctor you need cost way more. The poverty-stricken people in America don’t normally go to hospitals because they simply cannot afford it. This shouldn’t be how it goes in America. If someone wants help they should be taken care of no matter how much money they have.

In conclusion, the United States has a broken healthcare system. It is most of the time not affordable to a large number of citizens and it’s also not the highest quality. The citizens of the United States deserve better care. They deserve to be treated better than this.
